Mable's Home has opened their premiere Los Angeles sober living home for women in the San Fernando Valley community of Porter Ranch. Mable's Home offers a safe, affordable place to live for women who are committed to long-term recovery.
As one of just a few Porter Ranch sober living homes, Mable's Home is just a short walk, bike, or bus ride to shopping, dining, and career opportunities. Mable's home is centrally located to the communities of Granada Hills, Chatsworth, Winnedtka, Reseda, Sylmar, Pacoima, and Northridge. The sober living home is also just a short drive or bus ride from Cal State University Northridge, offering their residents excellent educational opportunities.
The resident community in Mable's Home sober living is low-key and tightly bonded. The women respect and support each other in a healthy group dynamic.. Highland House is staffed by managers with calm and collected leadership skills, and a solid core of sober residents provides grounding so that everyone can effectively maintain their sobriety throughout their stay.
Mable's Home is structured to provide safety and security for our family members who are new in recovery. As such, we require that all of our family members abide by a set of guidelines to help ensure everyone's successful recovery.
Mable's home is the creation of Juan Greer. Having had his own struggles with addiction, Juan found unconditional love, support, and an relentless degree of optimism from his grandmother, Mable. In an effort to give back to those currently struggling, and in honor of his late grandmother and mentor, Juan brought Mable's Home to life.
